Graubünden 3000 - Bad weather - After early waking and a famous Balser breakfast in the Tuoi hut it is still snowing.

We decide against plan A (Piz Urezzas, Piz Tuoi, hint. Jamspitz ?) and go on foot to Guarda.

With the RhB we reach to Scuol, from where we use the local skiing areas Infrastructure and start to the Piz Minschun 3068 m. Avalanche cone Freestyle the sport is called. Hard frozen and laboriously difficultly we exceed hundreds of metres of this patience check, overcome a big Wechte in the burr with some palpitation and soon stand at the top.

Renewed turning round means re-orientation on the Fuorcla Campatsch, because the view relations get worse constantly and the snowfall has become strong. We give up the ascent plan of the Piz Tasna and proceed again in the valley.

Quite late we tackle the more than 1000 meter climbing to the Piz Cotschen 3030 m. A lonesome bird shakes unbelievingly the head when Walter and me unbroken climb up by snow fall and fog. Shortly before darkness we reach in rather unsafe conditions and very tired the summit.

Because the weather report does not predict well we decide after hard days to return to Davos. Unfortunately, we again miss the train through the Vereina tunnel, leave us and come only at midnight dog-tired via Julier pass at home.
